On October 9, 2014, Joel H. Schwartz, P.C.’s Managing Partner Steven Schwartz met with the Japanese B2B consulting firm Funai Soken at the Prudential Center in Boston in order to share some insight into American personal injury law. Schwartz spoke for two hours to approximately 20 upper-level management employees, lawyers and consultants as a part of Funai Soken’s STUDY Tour, which visited great companies to work for throughout the East Coast. Schwartz’s presentation detailed the inner workings of a personal injury law firm, how a personal injury claim process works and how Joel H. Schwartz, P.C. specifically became so successful in the Boston area. He also advised the Japanese firm how to keep customers happy and how to attract new customers to their firm. The firm was very thankful for the advice, and after the meeting, Funai Soken’s Kyohei Deguchi sent Schwartz a letter of appreciation and extended a reciprocal invitation to visit the firm’s office in Japan.
